Rehabilitation Services

Blossoming Care delivers structured, evidence-based rehabilitation aligned with HMPPS priorities and reducing reoffending pathways. With trauma-informed practitioners, consistent staffing and strong collaboration with prison teams, we provide safe, stable and measurable support that strengthens wellbeing, reduces risk and prepares individuals for positive progress in custody and on release.

Adedayo Adeyeye is our Prison Reform Specialist, bringing 15 years’ experience working with offenders and delivering effective behavioural and rehabilitative programmes across custodial and community environments.

Behaviour Change & Cognitive Rehabilitation

Our Behaviour Change & Cognitive Rehabilitation service supports individuals to develop healthier thinking patterns, better emotional control, and safer decision-making. Using evidence-based methods, including CBT-informed approaches, we help people understand triggers, manage impulses and build pro-social problem-solving skills. Support focuses on emotional regulation, anger management, victim awareness and restorative thinking, creating the foundations for long-term behaviour change.

Substance Misuse Recovery Support

Our Substance Misuse Recovery service provides holistic support for individuals affected by drug, alcohol or dual-diagnosis challenges. Using motivational interviewing and relapse-prevention techniques, we help people explore their relationship with substances and build healthier coping strategies. We facilitate peer recovery groups, coordinate with clinical teams, and provide trauma-aware support for those with complex histories, strengthening resilience and supporting long-term stability.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Rehabilitation

Our Mental Health & Wellbeing Rehabilitation service promotes emotional stability, confidence and resilience for individuals in custody. We provide low-level, non-clinical mental health support, helping people establish routines, manage anxiety, reduce stress and build self-esteem. Working alongside Safer Custody teams, we ensure individuals feel supported, secure and ready to engage in their wider rehabilitation journey.

Life Skills & Functional Independence

Our Life Skills & Functional Independence service equips individuals with essential skills for safer, more independent living both in custody and on release. Support includes budgeting, healthy living, hygiene routines, time management, organisation and communication skills. By strengthening functional abilities, we help individuals build confidence, reduce stress and prepare for education, work and positive reintegration.

Education, Employability & Skills Development

Our Education, Employability & Skills Development service helps individuals gain confidence, qualifications and readiness for meaningful employment. We support CV building, interview skills, workplace behaviour and digital literacy. Through structured goal-setting, individuals progress towards training and purposeful activity, improving opportunities on release and reducing reoffending risks.

Resettlement & Pre-Release Rehabilitation

Our Resettlement & Pre-Release Rehabilitation service prepares individuals for a safe, stable transition back into the community. Support includes housing readiness, benefits, ID, banking, appointments and reintegration planning. Working closely with probation and community services, we ensure individuals receive coordinated, practical preparation for life after custody.

Social & Community Rehabilitation

Our Social & Community Rehabilitation service helps individuals build pro-social networks, social skills and positive identity. Through peer mentoring, communication development and group workshops, we reduce isolation and encourage constructive engagement, supporting confidence and safer community reintegration.

Trauma-Informed Support

Our Trauma-Informed Support service recognises the impact of trauma on emotions, behaviours and decision-making. We help individuals understand triggers, develop grounding techniques and build safer coping mechanisms. Using trauma-aware communication, we create stability and trust, supporting meaningful engagement in rehabilitation.

Specialist Support for High-Risk or Complex Needs

Our Specialist Support service provides structured intervention for individuals with high-risk behaviours, complex needs or long-term sentences. Working closely with psychology teams, we deliver behaviour monitoring, structured routines and tailored support pathways to reduce volatility and promote sustained progress.
